Persuasive Essay help?

I have to write a persuasive essay about that deals with grades. "Some individuals believe that schools need to provide students with grades in order to encourage competition, determine rankings in class, and supply periodic feedback" So it has to deal with if I feel grades should be given, which i think yes. But how do I write an attention getter?
